Your Thoughts
: Your tribute to your sister was beautiful.
It does seem that the kindest, most beloved people are taken
first. My mother, two uncles and now my aunt were taken
by cancer. My comfort is in knowing that God is taking care
of all of them. My husband's cancer survival is proof that
miracles are possible. We just never know which people will
receive the miracles. It doesn't make sense. Again, I am
sorry for your loss, and I am proud of you. Warmest regards,
Toni |

Your Thoughts
: I found Diane at Shared Experiences and
related my story, I received a response from her brother
and then found her web site. I am touched by her courage
and love for everyone around her. I hope I don't have to
go what she went through, but if I do I hope it's with the
courage that Diane has shown. |

Your Thoughts
: What a beautiful person your sister was…It
was hard for me to read this site because it is one of my
worst fears. (As it probably is for all of us here because
it strikes too close for comfort) but I’m glad I did because
it really touched my heart. It sounds like your sister did
not let this disease rob her of her dignity or courage,
and that she used her allotted time so very wisely.
Thank you for sharing
Peace be with you |

Your Thoughts
: Although I never knew Diane, I sure feel
I am like her in some ways. She seems to have been a pretty
remarkable woman. I know that through my long journey I
have ahead of me that I will remember this story and hold
my head up high and know that Diane will be an Angel helping
me see things the way she did. It's amazing how not ever
knowing someone and yet I feel like I do know her now and
need her. That's right I need her and now that I have read
her story. I will have her in my heart to help me get through
any tough times that may occur. I thank you once again for
what you have done by following through with her wishes
by creating this site. She must be so proud of all of you.
You have done a wonderful job. I have posted messages asking
other women with BC to read Diane's story. I will continue
to post her website in hopes that other women will read
her words it and learn from Diane's experiences like I have.
Good bye for now.

Your Thoughts
: You are such a dear brother and family to
your sister. How wonderful she must have felt knowing you
would take such care with her web site. I am sincerely awed
at this love. I have forwarded this site to all my family
members that are online. Diane wrote some things that are
just too hard to say and I hope my family will recognize some
of them. I cried such good tears this morning reading your
sister's words. Not all is rosy living with BC and that's
OK. I will pray for you and your family's recovery in your
grieving process. It will be slow and painful at times but
remembering Diane as you have in her site will help balance
your grief. Thank you again for sharing this experience with
me, I feel privileged. God Bless. Peace be with you.

Your Thoughts
: When Diane spoke up how sick she was but
kept it to herself. That is me with BC. The word cancer frightened
my family. My sisters never supported me when I needed a hand
to hold. My parents were afraid. Her story is beautiful. She
was strong. Thank you for this experience. |
