Your Thoughts  :   (((((((Lyn & All)))))) thank you so much for posting Diane's journey. I agree with you that "God wraps his arms around the best". We have lost many Friends In Need sisters and I'm sure they are wrapping their arms around your sister Diane. "Angel wings are the best for sending whispers straight to heaven". To Diane, you Lyn and all your family I am flapping my wings and sending very gentle angel hugs...Kay

Your Thoughts  :  I couldn't get through all of Diane's story as I just lost my sister about Diane's age to BC in May, 2002. I was diagnosed with BC at the same time 4 years ago. I have made it but she didn't. Looking at Diane's pictures was like looking at my sister.

Your Thoughts  :  I am so very sorry for your loss. I read her story and it literally brought me to tears. She was such a brave, beautiful woman who I'm sure will continue to touch many lives. I'm not doing well, but still have hope and great attitude; just like your dear sister. The cancer is spreading aggressively. On Sept. 19th I found it has spread to my pelvis and left hip. It is now in my liver, left hip, right hip, ribs, spine and pelvis; but your know what, I will never stop fighting. To give up is to give in, and I won't... I'm waiting to go in the hospital for radiation treatments for my pelvis. I don't mean to be dwelling on myself, but a little prayer would be much appreciated.

Thank you again for sharing with me and all the other women out there who are fighting this insidious disease.

Your Thoughts  :  Although I never knew Diane, I sure feel I am like her in some ways. She seems to have been a pretty remarkable woman. I know that through my long journey I have ahead of me that I will remember this story and hold my head up high and know that Diane will be an Angel helping me see things the way she did. It's amazing how not ever knowing someone and yet I feel like I do know her now and need her. That's right I need her and now that I have read her story I will have her in my heart to help me get through any tough times that may occur. I thank you once again for what you have done by following through with her wishes by creating this site. I have posted messages asking other women with BC to read Diane's story. I will continue to post her website in hopes that other women will enjoy it and learn from Diane's experiences like I have. Good bye for now.

Your Thoughts  :  How wonderful Diane must have felt knowing you would take such care with her web site. I am sincerely awed at this love. I have forwarded this site to all my family members that are online. Diane wrote some things that are just too hard to say and I hope my family will recognize some of them. I cried such good tears this morning reading your sister's words. Not all is rosy living with BC and that's OK. I will pray for you and your family's recovery in your grieving process. It will be slow and painful at times but remembering Diane as you have in her site will help balance your grief. Thank you again for sharing this experience with me, I feel privileged. God Bless. Peace be with you.
love,

Your Thoughts  :  {{{{Lyn}}}} Oh, how I would have loved to have a family like yours! What a fitting memorial to your wonderful sister.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Cancer is Public Enemy Number One, as far as I'm concerned. It took my mom, mother-in-law, dear neighbor, and almost caused my husband's death. I pray daily for a cure. I don't think there's a family who hasn't been affected by it.

Thanks for sharing! I love her, and I love YOU for loving her!

Your Thoughts  :  We can learn much about living from those in the dying process. I wrote under the Sources of Inspiration about what I learned from my neighbor and her family during her last three weeks. She taught me faith, belief, and courage in those waning months after her diagnosis first of lung, then brain, then colon, then bone cancer. I don't think I'm that strong, but stories like Diane's make me feel like I CAN!

Your Thoughts  :  This is never easy. I wish you comfort and peace when you think of your sister. She would want you to be filled with these emotions as you remember her, with wonderful memories of what she was and will always be in your heart, and all of those who knew her. Some small comfort is that you have made her memory live on with her website. People will read and the experiences she went through is not in vain. Others will be helped by this.

Thank you for sharing!
